Rex White
Rex White was born on August 17, 1929. He was raised in Taylorsville, NC. Rex’s racing career began in 1954 in the Sportsman division at West Latham Speedway in Maryland. He would enter the Grand National division in 1956 at Daytona Beach, FL. He captured his first win at Champion Speedway in Fayetteville, NC on November 3, 1957. He would later finish with 28 career wins and one Grand National Championship in 1960. Rex finished with one career win at Occoneechee/Orange Speedway in 1962. He would win his final race in Atlanta, GA later that year. He later ended his racing career in Atlanta, GA in 1964. |
