Fifth Annual Celebration of the Automobile Car Show & Racers Reunion
On Friday and Saturday November 4th and 5th - The Historic Speedway Group will host The Fifth Annual – Celebration of the Automobile Car Show & Racers Reunion. The Occoneechee-Orange Speedway is the only surviving dirt race track from NASCAR’s inaugural season in 1948.
Racers Reunion will feature guest appearances by the greatest NASCAR drivers and Car Owners as well as celebrities of the racing fraternity including:
An Open Car Show will feature a display of: Hot Rods, Street Rods, Vintage NASCAR Racers, Trucks, Motorcycles and Special Interest Vehicles.

**NOTICE: Saturday November 5th event ---- Spectator Parking!!!!! FREE PARK & RIDE from the Home Depot/Walmart Shopping Center Exit 165 off I-85 --& at the old Wal-Mart parking lot off Churton St - I-85 Exit 164----limited parking on Hwy 70a (watch for signs) - Buses will run back & forth every 20 minutes until 430pm
There is no spectator parking at the Speedway (Elizabeth Brady Rd)...Parking at speedway is for VIP, Handicap & Motorcycles only..

On Friday and Saturday November 4th and 5th - The Historic Speedway Group will host The Fifth Annual – Celebration of the Automobile Car Show & Racers Reunion. The Occoneechee-Orange Speedway is the only surviving dirt race track from NASCAR’s inaugural season in 1948.
Racers Reunion will feature guest appearances by the greatest NASCAR drivers and Car Owners as well as celebrities of the racing fraternity including:
- Rex White – NASCAR’s 1960 Grand National Series Champion and “NASCAR’s Oldest Living Champion” will be the Guest of Honor
- David Pearson - NASCAR Champion, ’66, ’68 and ‘69
- Cotton Owens - Famed NASCAR driver and car owner
- Ned Jarrett - Retired race car driver and broadcaster who won four NASCAR national driving titles
- Tiger Tom Pistone - Nascar Grand National Series Legendary Driver
- All in attendance will be invited to walk the historic .9 mile dirt track and ramble along the Eno River.
An Open Car Show will feature a display of: Hot Rods, Street Rods, Vintage NASCAR Racers, Trucks, Motorcycles and Special Interest Vehicles.
- Racers Reunion will feature free shuttle service, all day festivities, free driver autograph session, a live auction, exhibits, souvenirs, and food provided by local vendors.
